Neon Velocity
Neon Velocity is unapologetic arcade racing. No tire wear, no fuel management, just speed and glowing city streets. The drift model is the reason to play: tap the brake to break traction, then steer through the slide to build boost. Once it clicks, chaining drifts through a corridor of neon feels fantastic.
The tracks loop and branch in ways that reward memorization, and the rubber-band AI keeps races tense without feeling cheap. Car upgrades are simple and fast, so you spend more time racing than menu-surfing. The touch controls default to tilt, but I switched to buttons within minutes and never looked back.
There's not much story to speak of, and the campaign gets repetitive near the end. But for two-minute adrenaline hits it's hard to beat, and that soundtrack lives in my head now.
